ABOUT AFFDF

Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) has been established with the objective of assisting Veterans, Widows and their dependents as well as the institutions/organizations created for rehabilitation of paraplegic soldiers.
AFFDF assists to meet the expenses for Mobility equipment for disabled veterans, Vocational Training for Widows, Widow Remarriage/Daughter Marriage, medical treatment for serious diseases for non-pensioner veterans, etc.
Contributions towards AFFDF are exempted under Income Tax under Section 80 G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act 1961.
AFFDF is registered with the Office of the Registrar of the Companies, Ministry of Corporate Affairs as an entity to undertake CSR activities (CSR1 Registration No CSRXXXXX199)
CSR Projects with AFFDF are also eligible for fulfilling the CSR obligation under Section 135 of Companies Act, 2013 as it adheres to Clause VI of Schedule VII of the Companies Act, 2013 (Measures for the benefit of Armed Forces Veterans, War Widows and their dependents).
